OPTIPACT is available in the two version S1 and F1. It is the first contact-free industrial sensor capable to measure two orthogonal axes. Hence OPTIPACT can detect any possible direction of motion at the same time. The sensor is designed for velocities up to 4 m/s (13 ft/s). OPTIPACT is particularly well suited for structured surfaces such as fabrics, nonwovens, abrasive paper or wood. This cost-efficient sensor enables optical length and velocity measurement in applications where conventional, tactile methods have established.
