OPTIPACT S
Calibrated Sensor for non-contact length and velocity measurement on rough and structured surfaces. The device is fully configurable via PC based setup software to achieve best measurement results on most surfaces. Pseudo absolute length measurement via reference mark detection.
The OPTIPACT series connect the benefit of the contact free optical measurement principle with the measurement of two dimensional movements. Furthermore standstill and the movement direction of the material can be determinate accurately. The achieved accuracy of 1% in length measurement is comparable to many encoder based solutions. With the advantage of a slip-free measurement the OPTIPACT can replace an encoder in a wide range of applications.
